Frances Fourie

I am a registered Clinical Social Worker, focusing on Play Therapy, based in Southern Suburbs, Cape Town. I have over 15 years’ experience working with children and their parents, as Counsellor, a Pre-school Teacher and School Principal.

I am passionate about providing a caring environment that enables children to discover their capacity for inner joy, through play and self-discovery. My hope is to offer compassionate and empathetic support to children, and their parents, encouraging emotional growth and healing.

As a mother of two little girls, I understand how challenging parenting can be and how hard it is to ask for support.  When we see our children struggling in life, we can feel powerless to help, bringing with it a sense of overwhelm and worry.  If your child is struggling, they may be needing a safe and nurturing space to process, in their own way, what they are going through. Play Therapy is the perfect way to support children through the healing process.
